Should I Stretch?
In addition to hearing “I’ve been doing my stretches everyday, or I haven’t done any of my stretches”, I get asked often, “Should I stretch?” Short answer: It depends. It depends on what you’re trying to accomplish with your “stretching”. When I stretch, am I actually lengthening the muscle I’m stretching? I feel “tight” so I must stretch, right?
