JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. As a Physical Therapist at Purpose PT, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing effective treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their functional abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in [State].
  • Proven clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
  • Proficient in performing evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex patient cases.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The Physical Therapist will primarily work in a clinical setting, treating patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • The position may require standing, bending, and lifting during patient treatment sessions.
  • The Physical Therapist may be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, primarily for ‘boots on the ground’ marketing, networking, and relationship building including meeting doctors, setting up tables for pop-up events, and leading workshops.

PHYSICAL DEMAND CAPACITY:

  • Consistent with published industry PDC norms or minimally:
  • Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
  • Lifting—routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from:
    • Floor to waist
    • Waist to shoulder
    • Shoulder to overhead
  • Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
  • Pushing—routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
  • Sustaining a grip—routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
  • Guarding a “lift load” routinely of 120-140#

EXPOSURE DETERMINATION:

  • Has the potential for Hazardous Substance Exposure
  • Has the potential for Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ physical condition, medical history, and functional limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on the evaluation findings, considering patients’ goals and specific needs.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and improve physical function.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing conditions, preventing further injury, and maintaining overall health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Document patient evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and developments in the field of physical therapy and participate in continuing education activities.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and providing compassionate care.

  • Patient Outcomes: Measure the progress and improvement of patients’ physical abilities, functional status, and pain levels.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Evaluate patient feedback and satisfaction surveys to assess the quality of care provided.
    • NPS Scores > 8/10
  • Productivity: Monitor the number of patient visits, treatment sessions, and documentation completion to ensure efficient and effective use of time.

      • > 86% Clinic Efficiency (Arrivals / Slots Per Week)
    • Bonus & Promotion Tiers
      • 88% Clinic Efficiency = Tier 1 Bonus
      • 90% Clinic Efficiency = Tier 2 Bonus & Qualify for Promotion
        • (Over a 6-Month Period of Time)
      • 92% Clinic Efficiency = Tier 3 Bonus @ Qualify to Become Clinic Director or Partner
        • (Over a 6-Month Period of Time)
  • Documentation: All notes will be completed and finalized within 48 hours of the visit date.
  • Compliance: Adhere to documentation standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy.
