I have never been one for Physical Therapy until I met Dr. Ken. I am an avid athlete and hit the gym regularly. I went from having very limited mobility in my shoulder from a previous injury and poor form in the gym, to making a complete recovery and gaining my mobility and strength back with ZERO pain! He truly understands how the body functions and how to properly help you help yourself. I would 100% recommend Purpose Physical Therapy and Dr. Ken to anyone who is looking to regain their mobility and strength and start making those gains in the gym again!

I found Purpose PT from a quick and desperate Google search and I’m SO glad I did! I had sustained an injured to my hamstring from a simple forward fold in yoga and was in a lot of pain day to day, even after stopping exercise completely for two weeks. Little did I know I could and should’ve been continuing exercise to strengthen my hamstring! I learned this and a lot more about my injury and recovery during my time working with Sarah. My pain is now almost nonexistent, and when it flares up I have the tools to handle it on my own. Thank you so much Sarah for being a source of knowledge and encouragement during a tough time for me. I will certainly go back if I ever need to, but I know my hamstring will be just fine. I am back to teaching yoga, practicing Pilates and Barre, and I’m feeling strong enough to try a short run soon.

Purpose Physical Therapy is a great choice for any and all your PT needs. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ken who is highly knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. I was involved in a motorcycle accident and my right leg, mainly the knee, experienced a crush injury. I was unable to walk for the first few weeks. Within a short period of starting with Ken, I went from crutches, to a cane, to walking without any equipment assistance. Ken understands your own ability as well, to where he doesn’t force you past your comfort level. With his assistance, it has greatly impacted my way of life to be able to get back to work and continue my regular daily routine. The facility is nice and clean, easily accessible, and they have the capability to handle all types of physical therapy needs. Absolutely a great choice and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a physical therapist they can rely on.

I found purpose PT due to the fact they are located right near my house. But when I went in pretty much knew I was in the right spot. Young doctors adamant on getting you back to your norm. I came in with a pretty heavy injury, broken pelvis two broken legs and a broken neck. Sarah and Ken have been a great asset in my recovery. Sarah has been truly committed to my recovery since day one. Sending workout plans to do at home and staying on top of me to make sure I’m executing things properly on my own. I attribute the ability to walk with no assistance or aid to Sarah. She’s put in some serious time and effort towards my recovery and it shows greatly. So thanks Ken and Sarah! And if you’re on the fence go in and check them out. Great environment and great people!

I found Purpose after a recommendation by my chiropractor after I mentioned I was having some pelvic floor issues. They were quickly able to get me in and I had a great initial appointment with Sarah. I’ve been working with Sarah for the last month and a half and have had a great experience. I’ve also been working with her on some orthopedic issues and I have been so impressed with cast her knowledge of different exercises and strengthening tools as well as the different modalities they use for treatment. Communication at this practice is very efficient and I truly feel like they take the patient relationship very seriously. I cannot recommend them more!

The length of a physical therapy session directly influences the overall cost, as longer sessions typically require more resources and time, resulting in higher fees compared to shorter appointments.
Can PT durations differ for post-surgical care?
PT durations can vary for post-surgical care depending on the type of surgery, individual recovery progress, and specific rehabilitation goals. Each patient's needs are assessed to create a tailored treatment plan.
Are pediatric PT sessions shorter?
Pediatric PT sessions are typically shorter than those for adults. This is due to children's varying attention spans and the need for engaging, focused activities that promote effective therapy within a limited timeframe.
How quickly do PT session lengths taper off?
The tapering of physical therapy session lengths typically occurs as patients progress in their recovery. Generally, sessions may reduce from weekly to biweekly or monthly visits over a few weeks to months, depending on individual progress and treatment goals.
Do longer PT sessions ensure better outcomes?
Longer PT sessions do not necessarily ensure better outcomes. The effectiveness of therapy depends more on the quality of treatment and individualized care rather than session length alone.
Are PT session durations consistent across clinics?
PT session durations are not consistent across clinics. Each clinic may offer varying lengths based on their treatment plans and patient needs, so it's essential to check with the specific clinic for their session duration policies.
Can patients request longer PT sessions?
